The Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education & Policy cultivates research
about connections between a just, sustainable food system and healthy
eating and translates it into recommendations and resources for educators,
policy makers, and community advocates. The Center focuses on schools as
critical levers for learning and social change.
 Welcome

Immigration. Climate change. Workers rights. Business regulation.
International trade. A free and open exchange of ideas. Scientific
integrity. These issues are fundamental to our global food system. Yet
their future is unclear in this new political climate. The Tisch Food
Center's vision is a future where all people have the education, access,
and resources that empower them to choose healthy foods from a just,
sustainable food system. We are more committed than ever to joining our
colleagues across many fields to conduct research and promote policies that
support that vision in the face of our troubling and uncertain future.
Sincerely, Pam Koch
Executive Director

national organization that connects kids to healthy food in school, to lead
their evaluation study. The final report is in! Read key takeaways and see

to advocate for a strong Child Nutrition Reauthorization (CNR). It now
looks like CNR will take a back seat as Congress turns its attention to the
Farm Bill. We are beginning to craft Farm Bill priorities, and we remain
committed to ensuring that federal child nutrition and nutrition education
programs remain intact and adequately funded.

We also continue to urge Mayor DeBlasio to include universal free lunch for
ALL NYC students in the FY18 budget. Read more at the Lunch4Learning
