For SPN members involved in Green Buildings and Solid Waste, there isa  Zero
Waste Scorecard training planned in NYC on January 25. In case you haven¹t
heard, the USZero Waste Business Council is now part of GBCI. So, now Zero
Waste points earned by a facility count towards LEED credits.

NEW from GBCI:  Zero Waste Scorecard Training in NY

Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) is now offering the Zero Waste
Business Associate certificate program for professionals, designed to train
them on helping businesses get to Zero Waste, and to guide their facilities
to certification under the Zero Waste Certification System.

This certificate program is supported by the Zero Waste Scorecard Training,
which will be held on January 25, 2017 in New York, NY. The course will be
eligible for 5.5 GBCI CE hours.

Course attendees will gain a practical understanding of the most current
zero waste business principles and practices, and demonstrate a clear
commitment to professional growth in advancing zero waste and the Zero Waste
