NYC educators are invited to attend NYC's first "Educational Green Roofs Conference," Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at PS 41<http://bit.ly/2txAfPg> (116 W 11th St, New York, NY 10011). <https://maps.google.com/?q=41%0D+(116+W+11th+St,+New+York,+NY+10011).+%0D+Manhattan&entry=gmail&source=g>

The Conference organizers are PS 41, the National Wildlife Federation, the NYCDOE Office of Sustainability and the NYCDEP. Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer will open the event and City Councilman Corey Johnson will close it.
Attendees will learn about the many benefits of educational green roofs, what steps are required to launch a green roof project in their school, how to fundraise for a green roof project, construction and maintenance, and how to integrate a green roof into the curriculum. A networking session will follow the conference and light refreshments will be served.
