*Transportation is now the sector that contributes the most greenhouse gas
pollution in the US. *Electricity in NY is more than 25 % renewable, making
electrification of the transportation sector a crucial part of the climate
change and clean air solution.

*The Sierra Club encourages the use of mass transit to minimize personal
driving*, but we must be sure that NY's largest transit agency is
transitioning swiftly to the cleanest transit buses on the market electric.

*Come learn more about how electric buses compare to diesel, diesel hybrid
and natural gas options,* get an introduction to electric trucks and to
policy needed to reduce air pollution and emissions.
