How can new companies and organizations transition to a circular model? How are organizations currently engaged in this space and how do we move toward a more circular economy?

Join us on Thursday, November 8th, to explore the Building Blocks of the Circular Economy<https://events.columbia.edu/go/circular>-including technology, knowledge, finance, and design. Hosted by the Earth Institute's Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management and the multinational financial institution ING, the event will feature:


  *   Jean-Charles Guinot, US Network Manager, Ellen MacArthur Foundation
  *   Tom Kennedy, Global Leader of Civil Engineering, Arup
  *   Stephanie Kersten-Johnston, Director of Sustainable Business, Heineken USA
  *   Faith Legendre, Circular Economy Solutions Strategist, Cisco
  *   Anne van Riel, Head of Sustainable Finance Americas, ING

Moderated by Steven Cohen, director of the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management, the event will be held at Columbia's iconic Low Memorial Library at 6:00pm. It will be followed by a reception with wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres.
