Hi all,

environmental philosophy -- is *looking for an assistant director
<https://biocitizen.org/jobs/>* at it's NYC sister school to run its Our
Place Summer School
<https://biocitizenny.org/portfolio/our-place-summer-school-brooklyn-2/>
program with a potential for a longer contract. It is a perfect position
for someone who is entrepreneurial, loves teaching, is passionate about the
environment, and is looking for an organization they can have a real impact
with.

The position is 40 (full-time) hours a week; training begins January 2020;
the summer program runs June - August.

General responsibilities include:

   - Leading teachers and students into the field to practice FEP
   - Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants
   - Directing and mentoring teachers
   - Communicating with parents via email, text and vis a vis daily
   - Overseeing the registration process and generate rosters
   - Working with teachers to critique and improve FEP pedagogy
   - Developing FEP curriculum
   - Networking with local organizations, schools, experts, etc. to expand
   FEP and Biocitizen opportunities and general Biocitizen presence and
   notoriety
   - Contributing to public relations via website and social media
