As solar and storage prices plummet, and the electric vehicle market accelerates, many observers now see solar with storage plus EVs as the likely, inevitable future of the energy economy. How fast could this transition occur? Perhaps, by 2030. In this webinar author and energy expert Chris Goodall argues that for fundamental economic reasons, the 2020’s will see a disruptive energy transition, so that by the mid 2030’s, solar plus storage could be providing close to 50% of electric power globally.
Goodall is the author of The Switch: How Solar, Storage and New Tech Means Cheap Power for All.
