Dear Neighbor,

Our society faces unprecedented and interconnected challenges of climate
crisis and solid waste pollution. Large residential buildings, of which we
have many in our district, can be part of the solution. That's why I hope
you will join me for a Forum on Residential Recycling on Monday, October
7th, from 6pm to 8pm.

At this event, interested residents, building owners, managers, supers, and
coop/condo board members can get practical tools, strategies, and
inspiration for creating a culture of reuse, recycling, and composting in
your building. Speakers include Jacqueline Ottman, Chair of the Manhattan
Solid Waste Advisory Board; Sam Sepulveda, Outreach Specialist for the NYC
Department of Sanitation; and Tom Outerbridge, General Manager of Sims
Municipal Recycling.

The Forum will take place at The Loft at Marble Church, 274 Fifth Avenue
