Social Media for Climate Activism Lead
Bard Center for Environmental Policy
The Center for Environmental Policy at Bard College has an opening for a
remote, short-term contract position as Social Media Lead.
Position involves:
1.
Coordinate social media promotion of a project called Solve Climate By
2030, www.solveclimateby2030.org and an associated campaign to
#makeclimateaclass.
2.
Organize and carry out an on-line practicum in Social Media for Climate
Activism.
3.
Engage with over a hundred students from colleges across the world as
well as the US who will participate in the practicum and promote the
project.
4.
Coordinate with and report to project leadership.
The position will require 15 hours per week of work, beginning January 15th
and ending May 30th, 2021. Compensation is $9,000.
Experience with social media campaigns and volunteer coordination, as well
as comfort with facilitating synchronous on-line learning is required.
