Community development solutions are crucial in addressing the growing chasm
of racial, gender and socioeconomic inequalities that disproportionately
affects communities of color. These impacts have spurred demand for
community wealth building solutions, such as Community Development Finance
Institutions (CDFIs) and other private market solutions that help provide
capital to support small businesses, create quality jobs, pay fair wages,
provide basic food security and broaden access to affordable housing
options. How can private funds provide a lower cost capital to small
business borrowers and entrepreneurs in economically distressed
neighborhoods? What are some of the core investable themes and which issue
areas should dollars be targeted to? How can asset allocation play a role
in supporting these efforts in bridging the wealth gap?

Featuring: Lori Choi, Partner, Senior Wealth Manager, and CFA®
Charterholder, Veris Wealth Partners, Michelle Lai, Senior Vice
President, Solomon
Hess, Lori Chatman, President, Enterprise Community Loan Fund, Sean Salas,
