Bard College’s Graduate Programs in Sustainability (GPS) has an opening for
a full-time Admissions Associate. The position supports recruitment,
enrollment management, and marketing efforts for three graduate programs:
MBA in Sustainability (ranked the  #1 Green MBA by the Princeton Review);
MS degrees in Environmental Policy and Climate Science and Policy; and an
M.Ed. in Environmental Education. Bard GPS is strongly committed to an

This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the
ability to relate to a broad range of constituents (students, faculty,
external career offices, industry partners, etc.), an aptitude for project
management, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both
independently and collaboratively.

Bard GPS is strongly committed to an admissions process centered around
Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The Admissions and Marketing
Associate supports two pillars of the Bard GPS JEDI Roadmap: Community
Experience and Representation.

The Admissions and Marketing Associate will have the opportunity to work
partially remotely. They will be required to be on Bard College’s Hudson
Valley campus at least one day each week, as well as for in-person events.
Travel is also required to New York City 1-2 times per month.

*Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree with at least one year of relevant experience in
admissions, enrollment management, higher education, sales, talent
recruitment, or student services

   - Proficiency using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Zoom
   - The ability to give effective online and in-person presentations
   - A high level of verbal and written communication skills
   - Organizational and time management skills
   - The ability and eagerness to quickly learn new software.
   - A willingness to communicate with prospects, career counselors,
   internal staff and faculty on a daily basis in a friendly, courteous
   manner, as well as the ability to create and maintain positive relationships
   - The position requires the ability to occasionally travel, and to work
   occasional weekends and evenings
   - Ability to occasionally lift and transport up to 40 pounds
   - Preferred Qualifications
   - Prior work in admissions centered around Diversity, Equity and
   Inclusion
   - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, and/or Canva
   - Experience with social media management
