Courses address core MBA material through a sustainability lens. Bard students master the business case for sustainability and learn how to align profit with social and environmental goals.<br><br>Faculty members teach during intensive weekend residencies once each month (five weekends each semester) and online evening sessions each week between the residencies. The low-residency format allows flexibility in residential location: faculty can reside anywhere within a few hours drive to White Plains, New York.<br><br>The Business Strategy course is offered in a partnership between Bard College and the nation’s largest public utility and should include case examples of strategy relevant to the power industry. The program curriculum is focused on innovation, stakeholder-centered design, and leadership through disruptive change. <br><br>MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.P.A. or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have an established record of excellence in teaching. Relevant experience in both Corporate Strategy and Sustainability is required.
