Did you know . . .

Not eating meat has more of an effect on climate change than switching
to a hybrid car.

Industrial farm animals around the world generate 18% of gobal
emissions.

Producing 1 pound of beef creates 11 times as much greenhouse gas
emissions as 1 pound of chicken and 100 times more than a pound of
carrots.

Perspectives on Green Collaborative trainings:

"Yesterday I passed the LEED AP exam and I just wanted to say thanks.
The class (LEED for New Construction) was extremely informative and it
helped me a great deal to better understand the credits. It also
helped me to know how to prepare the exam" Bill Hofman, Hoffman
Consulting Services

"One of the most informative lecutres I have ever attended." (Whole
Systems Integrative Design Workshop)

"The presentation (LEED for New Construction) gave me a great general
overview of what LEED is, how buildings obtain their LEED
certification and how I can go about getting my LEED AP accreditation.
This seminar was one of the most interesting ones I''ve attended in a
long time. It was both professionally as well as personally
enlightening. I decided to get my LEED AP about a month ago with a
goal of taking the test in 2009. This seminar was a great starting
point toward achieving that goal"
