Happy New Year to All,

We begin 2009 with an important breakthrough in fuel cell commercialization.
TreadStone's patented bi-polar metal plates achieve DOE targets in
durability, cost and effectiveness, have been successfully tested by
military and portable fuel cell integrators, and are currently undergoing
evaluation by several domestic and international automobile companies.
Bipolar plates are ubiquitous in fuel cells. A typical portable fuel cell
with contain 10 to 30 plates, while an automobile will need about 400.

Gerry Cuollo, TreadStone's CEO and President, will describe the advantages
of their plates over graphite plates, as well as the company's high-purity
hydrogen compressor technology, which can be used in industrial applications
as well as in fueling stations.

Dr. Ying Wu, Senior Analyst at Lux Research, a branch of Lux Capital, will
be our Sector Expert. Dr. Wu leads the Lux Research Alternative Power and
Energy Storage Intelligence service, which provides technology monitoring
and analysis in a wide variety of technologies, ranging from batteries,
capacitors and fuel cells, to thermoelectric and other energy harvesting
technologies.
