*Waste Reduction and Recycling Workshop

Sustainable NYC, 139 Avenue A between 8th & 9th*

This workshop will show you how to reduce your business's waste and provide
resources to help you get started. We will provide you with the must-know
information to understand and comply with the environmental regulations. You
will hear from business owners/managers in NYC who have successful waste
reduction and recycling programs. Come to this workshop and walk away with
the skills to implement earth-friendly and money saving recycling programs
at your business. Attendee's will also receive a vendor/resource guide to
help your business save money and grow green.

what can you do? Take a pro-active approach to address global warming by
offsetting your carbon emissions. In this workshop you will learn about how
to calculate your business's impact and become informed about the ins and
outs of what an offset is. Learn about programs that offer verifiable
high-quality offsets that will counteract your business's unavoidable
activities that emit carbon dioxide by funding projects that remove carbon
dioxide from the atmosphere.
