*A new program of the Lower East Side Ecology Center, EcoBizNYC's mission is
to help small businesses, students, and the general public to actively
reduce air pollution, carbon emissions and airborne environmental health
hazards in NYC through environmental auditing, education, and action.*

*EcoBizNYC's initiatives will provide small businesses with resources on how
to reduce their overall emissions, negative impacts on community health, and
to increase their community support, while saving money and increasing their

*Waste Reduction and Recycling Workshop
Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 5-6:30 pm

This workshop will show you how to reduce your business's waste and provide
resources to help you get started. We will provide you with the must-know
information to understand and comply with the environmental regulations. You
will hear from business owners/managers in NYC who have successful waste
reduction and recycling programs. Come to this workshop and walk away with
the skills to implement earth-friendly and money saving recycling programs
at your business. Attendee's will also receive a vendor/resource guide to
help your business save money and grow green.
