Dear Colleagues

This is the final announcement for the 2nd International Symposium on Cross Sector Social Interactions at Brunel Business School, London, UK on the 29th April, 2010.

This year's symposium is titled: Re-Imaging Partnerships for the Global Social Good

The symposium is calling for creative approaches to address previous criticisms of cross sector social partnerships centred on the global social good. It invites insights from both academics and practitioners in order to bridge the previously fragmented literatures in a number of disciplines such as management, political science, public administration, nonprofit management and sociology within both theory and practice. The symposium aims to encourage interaction between academics and practitioners in the field by presenting the latest research and practice insights and by inviting poster presentations by both academics and practitioners.
The central focus of the symposium is to invite suggestions on how to re-design social partnerships as global institutions that can contribute to social good by delivering new policies, programmes and outcomes while encouraging the collaboration between institutions and citizens.
