NEW YORK, NY, March 24, 2010 ­ To help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of
Earth Day, Green Drinks NYC will host a special "Earth Month" celebration
expected to draw 400 green-minded professionals in the fields of design,
fashion, retailing, finance, consulting.
 
EVENT DETAILS:
            Location: Chelsea's "The Park" restaurant
            118 West 18th Street @ 10th Ave New York.
            Date: April 13, 2010
            Time:  6 - 10 p.m.
Admission: $10 in advance/ $20 at the door.  Bring a pair of old eyeglass
frames or sunglasses and admission is free!   Enjoy organic cocktail
specials, complimentary snacks, free giveaways, 1-minute pitches, speed
networking, and a DJ spinning great tunes. Open to the Public
 
Marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, this special edition of Green
Drinks will be sponsored by Modo, makers of ECO,  Earth Conscious Optics
(www.eco-optics.com), the first eyewear collection made entirely of recycled
acetate and stainless steel.  Using the tagline, "Seeing the World
Differently", the collection achieves an innovative, sustainable product
with no compromise in the quality, style or durability.
 
Attendees who bring a pair of used eyeglasses or sunglasses for recycling
will receive free admission, and all attendees will have opportunities to
win free pairs of ECO glasses, as well as 30% off discounts on new eyewear
at the MODO shop in Soho.
 
Like all Green Drinks NYC events, this lively event provides a platform to
network with other eco-conscious professionals to develop new ideas, find
employment, and discover avenues for sustainable living.
