CORRECTION:  It was just brought to my attention that the URL to register
for the June 16 Sustainable Design event being sponsored by the Columbia
Business School Alumni Club was incorrect in the email I sent out this
morning.

MAKING GREEN FROM GREEN
Shaping the 21st Century:  Innovation at the Intersection of Sustainable
Design and Business

Join us for the final event of the Making Green from Green Series which
focuses on sustainable design.  Our experts will explore how design and
business can fuel innovation and shape the economy in the 21st century.
 
We will also feature designers from the New York Chapter of the Industrial
Designers Society of America (IDSA).  Designers will be available to talk
about their work before and after the panel.
 
Please stay afterwards for an extended reception and networking

Location: UJA Federation of New York, 130 East 59th Street

The venue does not allow any walk-ins due to security concerns. Please
register and bring photo ID with you.  On- line registration will close at
noon on June 15, 2010 or sooner if/when the event is sold out. Since there
are no walk-ins, please register early to be assured of space at this event.

Moderator
Mary McBride is the Director of the Pratt Institute graduate program in
Design Management, the first graduate program for creative professionals
interested in strategic management and design driven economies.  She is also
a partner at Strategies for Planned Change (SPC) International where she
leads the strategic leadership and stewardship practice.
 
Panelists
Ken Drucker is the Design Director for HOK¹s New York Office. HOK is a
global architectural firm that specializes in planning, design and delivery
solutions for buildings and communities. Ken sits on the Board of Directors
for HOK and serves as Co-Chair of HOK¹s Worldwide Core Competency Design
Board. 
Richard Lombardi is the Chief Operating Officer of Material ConneXion, a
global materials resource and consultancy that helps companies overcome
their material challenges within the design and development phase by
connecting them with the best materials solutions.
Eric Wilmot Eric Wilmot is an Innovation Strategist at Wolff Olins, a brand
consultancy that works with organizations around the world that want to make
fundamental changes to help them focus, grow, perform better, and connect
with customers.
