Hello,
I would like to invite you to our Full Circle
Series<http://gillopez.posterous.com/nourishing-cities-full-circle-series-thehort>on
the second Friday of each month. These are intimate conversations with
innovative, critical thinkers addressing the present challenges of our
social, environmental, and economic landscapes. The series’ theme is:
bringing into being the world we want to live in now with a focus on
localized efforts. The speakers range from small, local farmers and food
activists to journalists and radical educators.
This Friday <https://www.facebook.com/events/380686085339577/> I am honored
to be leading the conversation about food and cities "A Radical Radish:
Getting to the Root of Food in the Urban
Environment"http://www.nycharities.org/events/EventLevels.aspx?ETID=5571
The series is also a fundraising capital campaign for our worker
cooperative Nourishing Cities <http://nourishingcities.com/>. The
Horticultural Society of New York is an oasis conveniently located in
midtown at 148 West 37th Street, 13th Floor. I hope that you can join us
for this or one of our future events.

Regards,
Gil A. Lopez
