Hour" with author, entrepreneur, and psychologist Per Espen Stoknes, where
we will explore the psychology of climate change communication and how we
can all talk about global warming in a way that creates action and

Per Espen Stoknes is a psychologist with PhD in economics, based in Oslo,
Norway. He is the head of the Norwegian Business School’s executive program
on green energy and co-chairs the Center for Climate Strategy. He
previously worked as a clinical and organizational psychologist and adviser
for scenario planning for a wide spectrum of international businesses,
government agencies and nonprofit institutions. He has founded several
clean-energy companies in Norway and elsewhere. He is author of the book,
WHAT WE THINK ABOUT WHEN WE TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING: Toward a

Mark Schapiro is an award-winning journalist who investigates the interplay
between the environment, economics and politics. His most recent book was
just published, in paperback: THE END OF STATIONARITY: Searching for the
New Normal in the Age of Carbon Shock

360, and elsewhere; and he has worked as a correspondent with the PBS
newsmagazine FRONTLINE/World. He is a Lecturer at the UC Berkeley Graduate
School of Journalism; and was formerly senior correspondent at the Center
for Investigative Reporting. Previous books include EXPOSED: The Toxic
Chemistry of Everyday Products and What’s at Stake for American Power,
which reveals the health, economic and geo-political implications of toxic
chemicals.
