Conference: HQ2050: The Sustainable Office at Bloomberg LP
The Sustainability Practice Network and Urban Green Council invite you to attend HQ2050: The Sustainable Office, a half-day conference on October 19 at Bloomberg LP <http://urbangreencouncil.org/content/events/2016-urban-green-conference>.
Over 70% of New York City greenhouse gas emissions come from energy used by buildings—but energy use is just a tenth of the operating costs for most commercial buildings. The other 90%? Employee salaries and benefits. This means that to be truly sustainable, the office of the future will need to align the financial bottom line with the environmental one. For the first time, this conference will examine strategies for cities from the perspectives of designers, building owners, and tenants to cut energy use while improving occupant comfort and productivity.
Register to be a part of the conversation <http://urbangreencouncil.org/content/events/2016-urban-green-conference>, and learn about recently accomplished commercial fit outs and what lies ahead! AIA and GBCI continuing education credits are available.
