MBA in Sustainability
Visiting Faculty Position - Fall 2019
Bard College’s low-residency MBA in Sustainability has openings for a visiting Lecturer to teach the following course in Fall 2019:
Business Strategy for Sustainability
Bard’s MBA program is one of a select group of programs globally that fully integrates sustainability into a business curriculum. Courses address core MBA material through a sustainability lens. Bard students master the business case for sustainability and learn how to align profit with social and environmental goals.

Faculty members teach during intensive weekend residencies once each month (five weekends each semester) and online evening sessions each week between the residencies. The low-residency format allows flexibility in residential location: faculty can reside anywhere within a few hours drive to White Plains, New York.

The Business Strategy course is offered in a partnership between Bard College and the nation’s largest public utility and should include case examples of strategy relevant to the power industry. The program curriculum is focused on innovation, stakeholder-centered design, and leadership through disruptive change.

MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.P.A. or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have an established record of excellence in teaching. Relevant experience in both Corporate Strategy and Sustainability is required. For more information about Bard’s MBA program, visit the website http://www.bard.edu/mba

To apply, submit a cover letter, CV, and names and contact information for three references through Interfolio.com at: http://apply.interfolio.com/62392. Applications will be reviewed as received. Priority review will be given to applications received prior to May 1st.
