Dear Colleagues,

It's not too late to RSVP for this week's panel: The Financial Ecosystem: The Role of Finance in Achieving Sustainability<https://events.columbia.edu/go/financialecosystem>, on Thursday, March 5th, 6:00-8:00pm, at Columbia University.

A new book, titled The Financial Ecosystem: The Role of Finance in Achieving Sustainability, outlines the rationale for and methods used in six areas where financial acumen has been harnessed to the goal of combining monetary return with long run sustainability. The Earth Institute invites you to explore each of the six areas and their roles in advancing specific measures of sustainability; new research around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) integration and climate risk; and mobilizing financial resources to meet the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The book authors will be joined by other sustainable finance experts from private, non-profit, and intergovernmental organizations.

The panel will be followed by a reception with wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres.

Best,
Kelsie
