of circularity in building a global, equitable climate response. In
collaboration with the Office of Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine,
the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Circular City Week, participants will
discuss the:
-
Science behind circularity as a critical tool for reducing global
emissions,
-
Business opportunities and challenges, both globally and locally, and
-
Benefits for local communities and workforce development, especially in
big cities.
The Symposium will take place at Barnard College on Tuesday September 20th,
from 3-5pm. The panel discussion will open the event, followed by remarks
by Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, roundtable breakout sessions,
and a cocktail / networking hour from 5-6.
NYC policy makers, leaders and climate activists will leave the symposium
